South Africa revokes recent decision to withdraw from the International Criminal Court

South Africa has revoked its recent decision to withdraw from the International Criminal Court following a recent court ruling which declared the withdrawal “unconstitutional and invalid.”

It is not yet certain if the country definitely abandoned its intentions to leave the ICC. Burundi and Gambia had previously announced plans to leave the ICC, although Gambia reversed its decision a few weeks ago.
